OLM Filipino Independence Celebration

June 12 was the Philippines independence day from Spain. Last Sunday the Filipino community wasn't coordinated so the things planned didn't work out. This Sunday the Filipinos brought tons and tons of pancit. I was so happy. I haven't had Filipino food in so long and I couldn't be any more excited. Everybody was eating it too. Anyone who entered the patio was given a plate and put in line. It was really a unifying moment because all the ethnicities tend to stick together.

Later, Angelina, Rachel, and I had our youth group meeting. We talked about how we can talk to non-Catholics about our faith.
