All dressed up...

...and ready for his P7 leavers disco.

I worked from home today and then attended his wee graduation ceremony in the afternoon with Mr R.

It is a nice event that the school organises. Each child makes a wee speech about their time at St.Ninians Primary School, then a head teacher reads out a testimonial about them written by another member of the school staff, the janny, the dinner lady, an SLA or a teacher and the child has to guess who wrote the testimonial. They are then presented with the testimonial and an autograph book. Buncle did well with his speech with a wee bit prompting from Mrs Taylor, his teacher with some words.

After the ceremony we then went up to the classroom to have a look at the autobiographies they have written, they were excellent, can't wait to get that home.

In the evening Buncle, Mr R and I were back at the school for the disco. He was a tad self conscious arriving in this get-up but had to laugh at the end of the evening when he posed for a photograph for me leaning nonchalantly against a lamppost sucking on a lollipop.

Only three more days left at Primary School for oor Buncle.
