On to the next thing

Rules are there for very good reasons. But sometimes they need to be creatively worked around in order to do what needs to be done.

Ellen retired as an Art Teacher yesterday and I wasn't there to record the experience. For the journal it needs to be recorded. A photograph was taken by Bec of Ellen's celebratory fizz when she got home from work yesterday. So it did not conform to blip rules. So I took a photograph of the photograph which can now be blipped.

She left work yesterday taking many happy memories with her, appreciating the many challenges from pupils and classes which prevented any complacency setting in, almost drowning in the thanks and best wishes of colleagues and departed to prepare for the next thing. It was a wholly positive experience.

I need to get home to share some of that joy which is around.
