Sunrise

Whilst enjoying my morning cup of tea I was fortunate enough to see a wonderful sunrise emerge.

I have been starved of colour over the past few weeks and so it was truly wondrous to see this sight.

I put down my cup of tea, grabbed my camera and made my way out of the house to try and capture the moment.

To the naked eye, the chimney and aerial on a house created a very nice silhouette against the sky and I try and capture that with the image.

There is a bird on this photograph. You just have to look very hard. For once though, the beauty of wildlife was trumped by the beauty of nature.
