Ted at the Cycle Hub Opening!

We got up early this morning (9-00a.m.) to go to the opening of the Steven Burke cycle hub which is in Barrowford near Nelson. Steven lives in Colne and he won a gold medal at the London Olympics. He was there to officially open it with all the VIPs, lot of cyclists and other interested people as well.

After lunch we went back to Barrowford to an Armed Forces Day event. A lot of work had gone into organising the day but there were not a lot of people there. I think publicity of an event is very important and I don't think there had been enough of it.

Ted enjoyed seeing Steven and had a shot sat on his bike with him but Steven had his eyes shut so we decided on this one.
