Saturday: Paddington

I had a very early start today so found myself at Paddington just after 0600 to get the Heathrow Express.  This was the view looking up before boarding the train.

The flight back to Zagreb was completely full so I wasn't able to have a seat allocated when I first checked in.  But the check-in lady and I bonded over cats (I told her that I had two kitties waiting at home) and so she made sure I was on the flight.

If there is any doubt that holiday season has started, the flight today quashed those doubts.  It was completely full of youngsters off to the music festivals and all in very high spirits.  

I am back in London very soon, and for a bit longer, so will hopefully have time to catch up with my pals then.
