The path

This is the path in Oku Reserve on which I walked today. Oku Reserve is - in the words of Wellington City Council: the headland between Island Bay and Owhiro Bay, with panoramic views of Island Bay, Cook Strait and the south coast down to the South Island. This is all true and today the views were simply breathtaking: Aotearoa at her very best.

So why include a shot of the path? Umm....because I couldn't do the view justice. I tried...but (this time round) I couldn't. So now I need to:

- study Ansel Adams (oh boy...there's a challenging standard)
- stop beating myself up (ah...but it's in my nature..and it does help me improve...sometimes)
- go on a photography course (hmmmm...perhaps)
- get a better camera (have one coming soon but then there are the lenses, and the filters, and there's always a better model)
- try a different time, different light, different angles (yeah...I guess)

And now I have to think about taking a self portrait for bliptogether?

Ah...the path of the blipper...it is a difficult one ;-)
