Istanbul

I broke the on-going all day task of packing up my stuff in boxes (day four) by going in to Ortakoy this afternoon to buy some more of what I've already got (tape, boxes) and to organise cat food delivery and other tasks related to leaving everything in order before I go home on Monday. The photo was taken at the bus stop in Arnavutkoy. The big white building on the Asian side of the Bosphorus is the Military 'Kuleli' High School, founded by the Ottoman empire Sultan in 1845. Mucho flags on this glorious sunny day due to it being the first day of Ramadan, I assume.

Mostly sunny @ 27ºC although it often felt much hotter than that.
