Shake it!

A lovely chilled day today

B&Q first for pots and paint. Then on to Whitehall for some pond plants. Spent some time there waiting for the torrential rain to stop but they have a coffee shop. In the end we braved the rain as it wasn't going to stop.

On then to The Rising Sun for a spot of lunch. Back home we introduced the pond plants to their new home and then pottered in the garden until it was time to watch the town parade.

This gentlemen is a real local character and he is not specially dressed for the parade - the beard colour and hat are his everyday clobber and he's always around town sporting them proudly. Good on him!
