Path Through The Wheat Field
We met two friends on our morning walk with their dogs but, sadly, our Flash disgraced himself by growling and snapping at friends' dog. Now, I would argue that their dog was also behaving aggressively but, as you may know, this is an argument that rarely gets you anywhere with children or dogs. What tickles me is that if ever Flash misbehaves, poor Ben thinks it is his responsibility to control him and jumps on his back or pulls him off by the tail. This tends to inflame the situation even more so you may now understand why I won't walk them alone. I have, though, spent hours training them and, if Flash's behaviour does slip, they are always quickly responsive to any commands to leave.
We then set off to visit our lovely 2 year old grand-daughter Amelia. These days are a real joy. She is such a funny enchanting little girl (I know boring, boring) but we are just captivated by her. Today she didn't want us to leave . "Stay and sit on chair" I wish!
