What to post from today's UK Armed Forces Day event in Stirling?

RAF Typhoon aerial acrobatics? Or the Lancaster bomber with two Spitfire escorts from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight? The numerous recruiting stalls, each with its own range of specialist military hardware? Or the just-as-numerous burger and coffee stalls to make sure we didn't go hungry? The Military Wives Choir or the Poppy Girls (I managed to avoid them both)? The Band of the Royal Marines or the utterly fabulous display by the Red Arrows?

No, my photo to sum up the day - all the others couldn't begin to do justice to this grand recruitment fair - is of a military veteran taking shelter during one of the frequent heavy downpours we had for most of the afternoon.
