The sun came out eventually

We had a day with our family today. They live fifty miles away so we don't see them so very often. A barbecue in their garden was planned, J does an excellent barbecue. Sadly we had a wet drive over there and they had just had a thunderstorm when we arrived, and the meat was roasting in the oven. We stayed indoors, watched Wimbledon and World Cup on their enormous TV, and Jake and I played on my iPad. As always I picked up a few tips!

These lovely pines were blipped from their front door. The pines were one of the reasons they bought this house - they liked the outlook. What they didn't realise was that the pine needles tread indoors the whole year round!
