Ragged robin
Did well this morning, got through the breakfasts, clearing, re laying tables, room servicing and turn arounds by 11.30, when our niece and nephew in law turned up for a late coffee, bringing two of their daughters, and a three year old called Noah.
An hour of joyful chaos when it turned out that Noah was the son of our great niece's boyfriend. It is very strange to watch a great niece looking after a 3 year old child as though she was his own mother.
We had three chaps staying who were working nights for the past two nights. They have been coming back at 6 am and going straight to bed, and getting up for their breakfast at 5pm. Really nice people who appreciated being in a quiet house so that they could sleep through the day. (Not easy with the great nieces etc here).
Continued with the watering here and up the road. Bad news there! C and M's car has broken down half way through France and they now won't be home until Tuesday evening.
Mums leg felt sore today, so I redressed it early, and hallelujah I think it is beginning to heal.
The three chaps headed off to work this evening at 7.30, so we set to and turned around the two rooms ready for tomorrow's incoming guests. Wanted to get ahead as we would like to go to the Jazz in the Garden event tomorrow. And will have a further four rooms to turn around ready for incoming.
All in all quite a busy day.
The picture is of a ragged robin.... Which is pretty much how I was feeling at the end of today
