Last day of Preschool

.. went with a bang!

And his surprise at the end of it was a party for 13 of his friends at home. I'm a little surprised I pulled this off in 24 hours from conception but it was quite the ride.

Callum absolutely loved the party. I could tell how happy Callum was by virtue of him spending an hour clearing up by choice at the end when the last of his friends said their fond farewells at the door. It was as if he wanted to say thanks for the surprise of his friends being there, playing with his toys, watching Peter Pan, splashing in the pool, doing gym on the trampoline and racing up the stairs to see his bedroom.

What a hugely stark contrast from one year ago today when Reuben was admitted to place the implant for his hearing aid, his throat closed up during the administering of anesthesia and then followed a harrowing week I never wish to repeat.

But we are here today and celebrating the now!

PS I realise Callum appears as a magnesium flare amongst his friends. Factor 50 baby all the way.
