Juvenile House Sparrows

These three are from a brood of five house sparrows that fledged yesterday. When they are not being fed they are very happy to bask in the sunshine.

Late night update
11.30 pm Have just been out to check for slugs and snails around the flowers I planted out today, Also to see if we had any night visitors. The first rainy night a hedgehog and frog were foraging around. Tonight I found a frog by the greenhouse, Gofer has had one living there on and off for a couple of years. It looks different to the one I found the other night so I think tonight's is our resident one.
