Postcards

Seen in the marina store while bringing the boys and their Mom over to get the ferry back to Seattle (and getting ice cream cones here) Just before we realized we had all forgotten their passports and Nexus cards! So a quick stressful run back to the cabin for them!! (they made it by minutes….) Fortunately blipper Musings and hubby are here at our dock and will be making dinner (I’m bringing dessert for Bob’s birthday!) as we need to catch our breath! Whew. They were so nice to take us for a spin on their boat - in the rain!- which the boys loved but we didn't manage to see any of the cormorants in their nesting rocks as hoped for. Musings brought art stuff for tomorrow!!!

A bit of a stretch but it’s my last chance for a weekly blip challenge of “letter” I find I’m sending more postcards than letters now -because of the picture? it’s shorter? it’s not email or texting? It’s real handwriting? Old fashioned but somehow satisfying……?
