Yummy

I decided to showcase a vegetable today instead of a flower. Our lettuce is coming up nicely and Mr M just weeded it, so it looks especially good. I always ask him to plant twice as much as he might usually plant because I like to give fresh lettuce to the chickens and turkeys when it's available. And they appreciate it.

Yet another beautiful day. I spent at least half of it indoors catching up with laundry and housecleaning, but Riley and I went for a lovely long walk towards evening. Mr M is working night shift again, so I'll be up late watching tv.
