Kids hosting their own dance show while I shopped.

It was an awesome day today! We ate and played and ate some more!

We started off with a burger lunch at an upscale joint featuring local beef, then we moved on to the summer-only Play Palace to burn off their pent-up energy.

OO is much more confident at climbing and sliding compared to last year. She even ran into her friend, which made her adventure that much more fun. Little A surprised us with her agility. She mastered the climbing wall (which looked too tall for her size) after a few tries. Props go to OO for coaching her how to climb. Good team work there, sisters!

We then had some pastries after checking out a toy store, but that wasn't enough food to fill their tummies so we had to head to dinner.

What's a great day out without some delectable desserts? We had to check out Vancity's latest favorite ice cream parlor to round out our day! The long line-up was definitely worth it. This will definitely be the first of many more trips for us, if this place keeps up their amazing ice cream!
