Entropa

A year ago an art peace was put up at the entrance of the European Council. The work commissioned by the Check Presidency should be a joint authorship of artists from each of the countries that compose the EU.
Soon after it was publicly known, that the artist who was in charge of organizing the peace, invented the other artists and made the work him self. Very funny, I thought at first but then I got a call from a news paper journalist asking me strange questions: did I know Carla de Miranda; did I know David Cerny; did I know these resume lines? No! No! Yes!?
To cut a long story short, the whole thing was a fraud and this journalist had found out that the Portuguese sculptor, supposed co-author of the work was in fact an invented name with my resume, copied and added to the brochure related to the art peace Entropa.
Not so funny anymore, my resume was used without my permission.
I had now to deal with the curiosity of the news papers and television who insisted on interviewing me, which turned out to be free publicity. Very funny again! To this day, I don´t know what to think of this eccentric event.
