Into the tunnel

This "tunnel" of trees is right alongside the beach at Goring-by- Sea. The blue box thing on the left is used by fishermen for storage.

I had to drop son off to meet some friends this afternoon so decided to go on down to visit the beach for a while. Loads of people down there having group picnics/barbecues and the cafe was packed inside and out. A couple of people went out to sea on those small speedboat things (like Simon Cowell is often pictured on in the Bahamas!). They were really whizzing along when they got out to deeper water. Fortunately the sea is very shallow along this coast and they had to go out a very long way so you couldn't hear the engines much!

Treated myself to a Solero and ate it walking back to the car - which I'd parked some distance from the beach as I didn't fancy the chance of being able to park near (and it gave me a longer walk!)
