Half Price

I went out with a meal from the guys from work. We decided to try out a new Japanese restaurant in the city as they were doing a promotion that ends tomorrow.

The promotion was half price food for the first 100 customers, and wow that drew in a lot of people. Since they opened at 17:30, we decided to meet early and I'm glad we did. There's only one lift going up to the third floored entrance and they locked the level till they were ready to open. As a result behind us there was a huge queue forming. After a bit of squeezing into the lift, we were able to get up to the restaurant and get ourselves a booth.

The restaurant was huge! Spanning two floors, all the ordering is done via a touch panel at the table. Couple times when I went to the toilet, it was amazing to see people still queuing to get a table. Overall we spent almost as much on food as drinks and everything was delicious.
