Sunrise. Tick.

Another item on my list was to watch the sun rise!

I asked a couple of friends who I knew t would be up for it too. The only day we could do it, where the forecast looked good, happened to be on the longest day of the year. That meant an early, early start. Alarm went at 3:15, but it was so worth it!

We didn't actually see the sun rise over the sea as we had hoped. There happened to be a cloud in the way. Nevertheless bacon butties cooked on a camping stove, watching the effect of the sun rising on the sea and taking fun pictures was fab! This was one of the fun-est photos we took on self-time with the tripod!

We went home, I had a two hour nap and then spent the day at a lovely friend's hen party in London! Safe to say I was ready to sleep by bed-time!!
