Orchid, Polachromatized

(Whatever that means:-)

This day was a difficult one, for a variety of reasons, and so by the time I roused myself out of my pity party long enough to snap an image or two it was late in the evening.

I have blipped this orchid a number of times, but it was so late and my creativity so low that I had few options, and thought a bad blip would be better than no blip at all, so went ahead and snapped a few.

Of course by the time I get around to processing and posting, my mood has greatly improved, and I'm sorely disappointed to have such a boring image to work with. Well, Perfect Effects to the rescue, where I found a never-before-played-with-filter called Polachrome, which completely changed the appearance of the bloom, even making it sparkle! I'm hoping I've managed to salvage a blah image from a bad day!
