Yellow Invasion - Second Wave
Dry day today and we had our dog walks in shifts again - taking two at a time - as they are too big and strong to manage all four at once. Takes twice as long to complete and the two that get left behind are always complaining!
The two doggy guests should be going home tomorrow...so back to normal (or whatever counts for normal around here).
After the abundance of yellow fields earlier in the year, it is time for the summer flowering rapeseed crops. So more yellow fields.
We are also at the 'smelly stage' of the early flowering rapeseed - a sort of horrible rotting cabbage odour - only accentuated by the wet weather we have had recently.
So whilst I was taking the picture of this new crop we were assailed by the pong from the next field!
