The Lone Ranger?

I'm a little confused. I'm sure the Lone Ranger rode a white stallion ("Hi-Yo Silver!") and this horse isn't white. Even more important, I'm sure it was the rider who wore a mask, not the horse.

There must be some other explanation for this horse hiding its identity, Kemo sabe.
