In the garden

It's not been the most exciting weekend but today has been spent mostly in the garden. This is the sole tiny pear that has survived out of all the gorgeous pear blossom.
I hacked back a rampaging clematis that was smothering it, weeded right up the fence at the side of the house and pruned the bay tree which had gone berserk.
I also hosed Mr EAnn down before he could be allowed back in the house as he was clarted practically to the eyeballs as a result of having jet washed all the paving and the drive in the front garden. That was fun :-).
With a good lunch and an exciting trip to dump all the garden waste (hardly) it has been pretty good all round.
