Visitor

The setting might be familiar from a few days ago, but that morning didn't have the feathered visitor we had this one. He was just hanging out, waiting for someone to take his photo. Of course, when I tried to get a close-up, he took wing and flew away. Had I been quicker, I might have caught him in flight, but as it was I only have this static shot by which to remember his visit to our pool. Interesting how a different angle of view and time of day dramatically changes the photograph. Without the bird, this would have been deleted when compared to what I already captured.
