Cormorant
Today we went to Southend right down beside the Mull of Kintyre. It was glorious.
We climbed up to see Columba's footprints, two shoe prints carved into the rock. While it's not unreasonable that St Columba did step on Scotland down this way, at least one of the footprints was hewn from the rock by a local tradesman in the 19th century. We walked down to the Keil well but declined to investigate the cave system.
The views were glorious. It was hard to decide on which pic to choose but I went with this majestic cormorant.
I am so, so happy living here.
