I win !

I love really ripe gooseberries and for the first time in about 5 years the battle of the gooseberry bushes Vs the blackbirds was won by me !!!! Ok to be honest the bushes really won and I'll be picking thorns out if my fingers for weeks but at least I got to eat them for once !
