Piggles!

Ann, her beardie, Bella and I went to Sizergh Barn today, had a wander around the Farm Trail and through the woodland. Lots of lovely free range hens sitting in the sun and dust bathing by a little stream. Visited the wonderful farm shop and had lunch in the café overlooking the milking parlour. Unfortunately it wasn't milking time while we were there, but we did see the cows and gave them a friendly pat and kind word!

These pigs were usefully employed clearing land of weeds and couch grass ready for planting with vegetables. They came running to the fence to see if we had food for them, but all we had to give them was a bit of a scratch!

Lots of chatting, lots of catching up and lots of laughing.
