Piled
Saved from a trip to Edinburgh by finding two packets of yeast, the day was mostly taken up with clearing the area where the wood shed used to be to make space for Ewan's shed. He seems keen to build it, especially after I told him that I was only kidding when I told him he'd have to dig out a three foot deep trench and lay concrete foundations. But the work ethic needs a bit of work.
The old wood shed was made out of the old joists that got taken out when we found they were mostly not there any more, having nourished generations of woodworm. So they got chainsawed for the fire. I still marvel that they were just halved squared off tree trunks, probably cut from the estate.
Still, that's the shed sort of started. Let's see if he makes any progress over the holidays.
