Crossroads farm tour

We took a bike ride to one of the local farmstands, Crossroads Farm, where they had a gathering and tour to celebrate the preservation of the farm. The Vermont Land Trust has bought the development rights so that when Tim (pictured here) and Janet sell the farm they will sell to a farmer at a price he or she can afford. They have preserved over 40 acres which cannot be turned into housing but must stay a farm. It was a heartwarming community event, (and a nice bike ride).
