It finally happened!

It's amazing what you can fit into a day when you start at 4am and keep going till 11pm!!!

It took 5 attempts over 3 years but today we finally got up in a hot air balloon. It was fabulous! I had so many good choices to blip for today but it ended up being a selfie of myself and Cathie up in the balloon. :)

We started at Kirkby Lonsdale and flew down the Loon Valley. Still need to look up exactly where we landed - Fenwick I think!
We reached 2001ft and 18 miles an hour.

Couldn't believe that we were back on the ground and heading home before 9am!! (Having drunk a glass of campaign at 8am!!!)

Stopped for breakfast at 'Ye Old Naked Man' then home in time to join Eon, Ali and the boys going to Brimham Rocks. We enjoyed a good climb around. :)

Home again and the gang left for home at 6pm. (It seemed like it should have been 9pm!!!)

The house is very quiet and empty feeling now! :( I like it when it's full!!

And I can't believe it's school tomorrow!!!
