On my own....

Earlier in the day, this juvenile red-bellied woodpecker was being fed by his Dad. It appears that he is now on his own and enjoying the orange in a grand fashion. As you can see by his chest feathers, it was a windy day. Be sure to take an up close look as the look on his face shows sheer pride in his latest accomplishment.
