The rain is a-coming!

Living on the ridge which overlooks the Tweed Valley has some very definite advantages. For one thing, when I have washing on the line, I can usually keep an eye on the weather by looking towards the south. If the rain is headed our way, I can see it in the distance, and I usually have enough time to bring the washing in before the deluge hits.

This pictured weather pattern is quite interesting though. To the left, you see a sheet of rain. To the right, you see clear mountains ~ no rain at all!
