MonoMonday: reflections
If Tracey Emin can have an unmade bed, so can I!
This is my bedroom, reflected in the glass of a watercolour of me, painted by an artist I know in a life modelling class for which I modelled. It was a good number of years ago. My body would probably more interesting to paint now everything is going South but I am less inclined to take my clothes off in semi-public! I found it a surreal, intimidating, and fascinating experience, and there were some lovely paintings, including this one, which is discretely 'hidden' by the reflections. My artist daughter, who has been a model both for self-portraiture and other artists, bought the painting for me as a present.
Yes, that is wallpaper peeling off the reveal.
Thank you rainie for all the work in hosting yet another great MonoMonday challenge.
