Senior Portrait

This is J - she is over here on holiday with her family and like many US students going into their final year of High School she wanted a 'Senior Portrait' photography session. She decided she'd like her pictures taken in Edinburgh and her mum got in touch with me through a mutual friend (thanks H!) to arrange to meet up and take some pictures. As a result I spent a most enjoyable time this morning up on Calton Hill taking photos of J in the sunshine. We took pictures at a few different places, some more close-up on J and others, like this one, where the city backdrop was more visible. I had to remind myself that this was in fact 'work'. There are times when I really love being a photographer!
