Martindale Church

Grandad got married here a few years ago and it is the anniversary in a week or so. It is somewhere at the back of Ullswater off the beaten track. No electricity or running water. Just surrounded by spectacular ridges and rolling hills. Peaceful only the sound of distant sheep and curlews. The only sign of activity is the flight of the birds into the porch of the church (Martins I think) and the vague stirring of grass in the breeze.
