Waiting for the tide

. . . at Brancaster Staithe, north Norfolk coast. I was attracted by the narrow channel ready to be gradually filled by the tide, and the textures in the mud. There were a few clouds and I used a polarising filter but could not accentuate them much in the bright lighting conditions. Black and white seemed to suit the scene better than colour which I did try.
