Ringlet in a Ray of Sunshine

Walking through the shade of the forest there were the occasional shafts of sunlight, this one turning this umbelifer into a beacon for butterflies. If you enjoy butterfly shots then you might be interested to see the difference in markings between the male (black) and female (brown) Marbled White butterfly.It was a difficult decision to make today.
