Gardens aLive

An amazingly sunny, hot day. My first trip to this live event, Gardeners' World live. I've been to the NEC many times before, for various occasions and used to go often. This, however, was my first trip back for about five or six years. What better way to return than to experience a new event, amongst people with similar interests. It was great to see the RSPB, Wildlife Trusts and the BBKA (who presented a very informative talk) represented in what is primarily a horticultural entertainment event. Together with a strong presence from the RHS, this is a time to network with people from all backgrounds and discover the latest in all things plant/animal/outdoors-wise. Of course, you could (if you had wanted) have just filled your metaphorical Winnebago full of plants!
