Preparing...

...for ignition!

Finally, hanselled the chiminea this evening...one week after purchasing it. We needed to get some sand to put in the base...didn't think about that at the time.

Here we have the Rooster and Mr R setting the fire.

Today was a stay at home day trying to get the place a bit organised...not sure why when I'll be heading back to the office tomorrow and leaving the place to Mr R and the Barmy Army! I think my thinking is somewhere along the lines of "a stitch in time".

Anyway, once it was lit we got a fair wee heat of this...lit the BBQ too and cooked dinner al fresco.
