Bicycle Made For Five
Yeah, I know there's six numpties up there, but there's only five seats.
Another year in. One that's had it's photographic highs (shortlisted for the 'Lovers of Light' competition, and a couple of small competition wins locally), and its lows (basic can't-be-arsedness and enthusiasm sapping events outside of blip nibbling away at the eagerness of pointing a camera at things daily) but everything's all bright Kodachromey now.
Cheers to all my subscribers, the old and the new, the chatty and the quiet, the inspirational and the enthusiastic. There's a definite feeling of you reap what you sow on here these days, and things can be quiet when you're not out there posting comments on journals all the live long day, but that's fine, I'll keep ploughing on, and I'll sow what and when I can.
Thanks to all the Blip Central crew too, for keeping things blipping and ticking over nicely throughout.
But the biggest thanks go to the rest of the ever patient Delphwynd Daily householders who have, over these past five years, grown immune to the constant camera carrying, camera pointing, diverting, stopping and starting that's become the norm in my quest to keep this journal gap free, with this entry being a good example of their dedication to the cause. Under the pretence of going out for a nice bike ride, I roped Samantha into firing off the remote control whilst Euan did his best to keep me and the bike balanced during a sometimes tricky, sometimes painful photoshoot down in the underpass. They deserved their Empire biscuit and glass of juice after all that. They're the best.
Blip on.
