Millions of peaches
Ok, nectarines really. They were glowering at me from the fruit bowl as I'd passed over them earlier in favour of the bigger, juicier peaches. And this despite the nectarines' clear seniority... So I made them into pudding. Fried with cinnamon and served with ice cream and a sprinkling of fresh berries from the garden. A deluge of berries would have been even better, but a sprinkling or two is all we have this year. That said, the white currants (pink really) have done well given they were only planted late spring.
