Nano on the Box

This is my mother, known to all our friends as Nano,

As Caitriona is getting married in Sorrento, in Italy, on Wednesday next July 9, many of Noli's family are with us (to check us out!!) and to see a bit of Ireland. Noli's parents hail from Vancouver in Canada.

I haven't heard my mother play for a long time, but when Caitriona found the house accordian she was on it. There was no sign of arthritis on her fingers and at 88 she is truly amazing. Of course her father played until well into his 99th year.
Our accordian has two rows of buttons, her own one has only one row, so took her a little while to get to her best??

Maybe the Berlinis made for everyone, by Eithne helped get things going. Ha Ha.

Of course everyone piled into the kitchen, for the music, despite all the cooking for 12. Our chef, Eithne, remained unperturbed by it all.
