Love me Do

love, love me do, you know I love you

So, 500km round trip to the brilliant Animal Oncology and Imaging Centre today with our boy Dylan. Unique in Switzerland, this was recommended by our local vet, recommended on the basis of the few new growths we have found very recently.

Without going into too much detail he has a number of mast cell tumors, which may or may not be malignant. But a biopsy is necessary to tell if they are or not. Given the number, chemotherapy is necessary, along with another drug.

We feel quite positive, and are so appreciative of the treatment received today. The vet was brilliant and so loving, as were all the assistants. Dylan was also great. He had an x-ray on both sides, ultra-sound (lying on his back after having his tummy shaved) and was calm throughout.

Also Liz was able to talk to another lovely lady about alternative/complementary treatments.

So, now there are a few pills to take, plus some intravenous chemotherapy through our local vet once a week.

Sorry that this is a bit long, But thought it was good to record it.

Liz and Dylan at 18.00, we arrived at 14.30
