Life of Riley

Trip over to Stafford this morning to pick up some balloons and then lie in wait at the Moat House for a surprise lunch to celebrate Laura's Mum's retirement.

Of course BabyE had to get in on it too.

It was a really nice meal -though I'm not sure I'd go for rhubarb & custard cheesecake again- and it did actually seem like a genuine surprise.
A little extra surprise came from the Moat House themselves courtesy of these chocolates once we'd all stuffed ourselves.
