Charlecote Park
I pushed through with visiting Charlecote Park today even though my leg joints still hurt. I was at the bus stop to catch the 1215 bus to Charlecote Park but it didnt show up and so had to wait for the 1315 service.
The day was a good mixture of the warm rays of the sun and cool breeze of the wind. I had a wonderful time walking the gardens and shooting another set of photos for my timelapse collection.
Things that fascinated me during my visit : (1) Goats that look like cows from afar. I believe they are called spotted goats. (2) Laundry room that looks like a brick oven for baking bread. (3) A brewery that looks like a laundry room! (4) A kitchen that looks like it's owned by a witch by the looks of the old kitchen pots and the big laddles and mortar and pestle. (5) A magnificent view of the meeting of two rivers, River Dene and River Avon.
The photo shows the manor in Charlecote Park. It is a 16th century house owned by the Lucy family. The whole land surrounding the manor has been with the family since the early 1200's. I will definitely come back here to see more of the wildlife. The park where the goats and deers were situated would not be open until next month :)
