Aunty Debbie
Marks Aunty Debbie painted this for my 21st birthday present. I love it so much. Debbie was one of my favourite people, so warm and kind hearted, India loved her as much as I did. Heidi was only a little baby when she died of leukaemia. I know that she would have found Heidi's antics an absolute scream though. She lived in a forest in Wales and was amazing artist, fabulous cook, everything tasting so fresh and healthy, loved singing, a bit hippy, and a great friend to have. We went on a great walk up Snowdon with her once for her son Henry's birthday. Debbie was outspoken and had great discussions when a bit tipsy on all manner of topics especially family members! This is a really small but thick and solid wooden block that she cut and painted and fastened with a hinge. It was one of my best 21st presents. It's always out on the mantle piece wherever I have lived. I miss her.
Today was a very ordinary work day, no major drama.
