Pool fun

I believe this will be the start of a study where I try to capture the perfect splash. What fun!

We went to the pool tonight after dinner. We have belonged to this very small pool since the kids were 3 and 5. We thought that we might switch to the pool with the snack bar and the swim team, but every year we come back here.

It is small. Sometimes we have the whole pool to ourselves. It's close to the house, so it's not a huge production to go. And memories are here, which doesn't mean too much to teenagers but it means a lot to me.

In getting this picture, I now have great shots of both kids coordinating dives, of son's cannonball, of both heads looking over to see if the splash was good. So this is a great blip, but those others are treasures. Happy happy mom.
